Sorry Andy Williams, you are mistaken. Fall is seriously the “most wonderful time of the year!”  Lets break it down.  The weather is beautiful, the landscape looks more and more georgeous each day and the food is to die for.  Pumpkin and apple flavored everything…it is heaven!

We did a little decorating for the season and wanted to share with you some ideas and inspiration!

First, use your favorite vase, glass jar or object you have around the house to hold flowers.  We used an old milk jug and filled it with flowers, leaves and bulbs we found at a garage sale. If you don’t have anything around the house, your local craft stores sell bundles you can buy with a handy dandy 50% off coupon. Gotta love those coupons!

I decided to place this on our dining room table, so I wanted a little something extra to coordinate and bring it all together.  If you have extra fabric around the house, it’s really easy to make a table runner; you just need a piece a foot or so wide and as long or short as you want it.  Sew up the edges to make it look clean and you are ready to go!

Next we just added a couple fall decor items to a little table we have nearby.  I found the owl at CVS for $4 and he’s so so cute, I just couldn’t  resist to pass up this little guy.  Tip: if you don’t have a ton of fall decorations, put them all in the same room so it gives the appearance you really went all out!
