Online storytelling takes many forms. Infographics can help display complex statistics in a user-friendly, engaging way. Thanks toSerial, podcasts have never been hotter. And blogs are a tried-and-true way to share your story and your client’s story with your audiences.

Whether you’re blogging for your company or on behalf of multiple clients, or simply sharing your hobby with the world, success in the blogosphere comes to down to one thing – telling compelling stories that appeal to and reach your audience. Come hear how three regional bloggers did just that.

In the first week of PRSA’s Sunrise Seminar Series, you’ll learn how to launch a blog, find an audience, hone a voice and tell stories that grab and excite your readers.

Jackie HauslerJackie Hausler is director of communications and alumni relations for the University at Buffalo School of Public Health and Health Professions, and the founder of the lifestyle blog haus2home.com. With each project on haus2home, Jackie walks readers through DIY projects, while inspiring and teaching about living a green lifestyle. Her previous blogging experience includes managing Trocaire College’s blog and guest blogging for the Valu Home Centers blog and “We’re Getting Married” on BuffaloBrides.com.

Ben Kirst, Quinlan & Co.
Ben KirstAs the director of content marketing at Quinlan & Co., Ben Kirst leads a team of writers and PR professionals. He is responsible for all content marketing efforts for Quinlan and its clients, including Uncle Bob’s Self Storage, Apple Rubber and Sahlen’s Hot Dogs. He has received multiple industry awards for his work, including three Bronze Telly awards and two Addy awards. Before joining Quinlan in August 2013 as copywriter and content strategist, Ben served as digital communications manager for The Buffalo News, where he was responsible for the reinvention of Buffalo.com.
