Looking for a fun and easy way to celebrate Easter? This dessert will be a treat to make and to eat!
I found this Easter bunny cupcake idea on Pinterest and tweaked it to make it my own.

For these bunny cupcakes you’ll need:

  • Funfetti cake mix and ingredients to accompany recipe
  • Cupcake tins (I like to use silicone because they are reusable and eco-friendly!)
  • White frosting
  • Butter knife
  • Marshmallows
  • Pink sprinkles
  • M&M’s

Start by making your cupcakes according to the directions on the box. Allow your cupcakes to cool and frost them with white frosting using your butter knife.

Once your cupcakes are frosted, put your sprinkles in a shallow dish to make a dipping station. Then, using your kitchen scissors cut a marshmallow in half. Dip the sticky portion of the marshmallow in the sprinkles to create the bunny ears and place the marshmallow halves in the frosting on top of the cupcake. Repeat the process for all the cupcakes.

Finally, place three M&M’s on each cupcake to create the eyes and ears. I used the spring M&M’s with the pastel colors to make it really festive! Aren’t they so cute!?

  1. Super cute! We aren’t lucky enough to have little bits this year, but I’m definitely pinning this for next year. You had me at easy, but easy AND cute is even better. Happy Easter!
